It is one of the major roads in Metro Manila and is part of Radial Road 7 (R-7). The highway starts from Norzagaray, Bulacan and passes through the areas of San Jose del Monte, Malaria, Pangarap, and Lagro in Caloocan, Novaliches, C-5 Road, Tandang Sora and ends Balintawak Cloverleaf in North Luzon Expressway in Quezon City.
